Description of service

Includes one year of gym membership with no enrollment fees. Also includes 3 free sessions with a personal trainer. 24 hour access to the gym with all equipment (elliptical, bike, treadmill, stair master, etc.), separate womens weight area, classes (yoga, aerobic, etc) and a few guest passes as well. Childcare is available for an additional fee.

Review of Service

The gym is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year which eliminates any excuse you have of not going to the gym. Front desk staff is helpful and knowledgeable and can answer almost any question or will direct you to someone that can help you. Before joining you are given a full tour of the facility and if you ask for it, they will show you how to use most of the equipment. The session with a trainer also help you to become familiar with the equipment. The downside to the free trainer sessions are that they then try and talk you into signing up for additional sessions which are quite expensive. The classes are offered mainly in the mornings or early evenings which makes it hard if you work full time to get to many of the classes. But the classes are very fun and upbeat and the instructors are helpful and welcoming.

Tips

With gym memberships constantly being offered and advertised, it is sometimes a good idea to check out all the prices of the local gyms. Be prepared to be strong when you are looking because the sales people are very good at convincing you to sign up right then and there. I have discovered you can really barter and get the best price if you threaten to take your business to a different gym. Always make sure you know what kind of a contract you are signing since many of them will give you a low price only if you lock in for many many years!
