Description of service
Thsi is the price our family of five paid to go camping in the Ozark Mountains. The price is per night. The cost was eight dollars for adults and children over age 11, seven dollars for children aged 6 to 11, and children under five were free. The cost did not include taxes, electrical hook-ups, campfire wood, showers or any canoe and raft rentals. Electrical hook-ups cost an additional eight dollars each day as did campfire wood. Showers were coin operated and cost about two dollars for a six minute shower. We stayed two nights on the weekend.
Review of Service
We were very disappointed with our camping experience at this site. The camping sites were small, the campground was crowded, and it certainly was not a family campground as was advertised. Many families were there, but they were outnumbered by people interested in partying all night! The river was very accessible which was nice. The price was also very reasonable. However, I will definitely find another campground the next time we travel to the Ozarks.
Tips
If we would have just researched this campsite online, we would have known that this campground was known for attracting a younger, party-oriented crowd. Research before deciding on a campsite!
