the Cost of Funeral Homes

I know this is a very difficult subject for most but i will try and give my experience to maybe help someone else out.My aunt had passed away in a very unexpected situation.She had passed at home.The coroner is the one who came to claim the body.from there the funeral home of our choosing received her from the coroner.The 6150 covered the pick up,embalming,preparing the body for viewing.It also covered the casket along with using their area for showing of the body.The showing was on 2 different days and lasted 2 hours each.

This price also covered the trip to the church and the trip from the church to the burial site.

They were very warm and knew how to deal with our grief.They also checked to see if she had any insurance and handled all the paper work for us.They made sure if we had any specific requests that these were honored.They also requested recent pictures to make sure she looked as much like herself as possible.They were great in giving us a large room to accommodate our large family for the viewing.

I have several tips for a situation like this.First off dont feel like you have to go with the top of the coffin.They have several nice ones that are not as expensive.Also take them 1 of your loved ones favorite outfits.The funeral home does have clothing but you can save if you bring in their own clothing.Also if it all possible have the showing at there local church if they were a member.This will cut down on the price for viewings.
