Description of service
I paid for a full set of acrylic nails and tips. Trimming and filing of the real nails. Cleaning under the real nails, removal of the cuticles and a satin hands soaking. They told me the cleaning, removal of the cuticles and satin hands soak, were all included in the price of the nails, although if you go to a nail solan you can generally find a $25-$30 price for just the full set of acrylics and tips. and they usually file down and, or trim the nails for free.
Review of Service
I was very disappointed in the service that I received. I was scraped several times above my cuticle by the nail technician, she yanked my hands and fingers when she was switching fingers. She had very cold stiff hands. and was not very nice to talk to at all. I finally had to ask if I could have someone else do my nails because she was causing me so much pain and doing such a poor job.. By then though she had already had the nail tips glued on and a few nails with the acrylic on them and they were very uneven I might add. I had to have them removed which was a painful process in itself, all the grinding rubbing and soaking. After all of that, the new technician apologized and proceeded to do my nails very gently and politely. I'm not sure if the first tech was having a bad day or what but I did make sure she new I was very upset.
Tips
The second tech was a male, I seem to have had better luck with male nail techs. They are much friendlier and gentle. Also, ask what the cost of removal or trimming is incase you decide that you don't want them or that they are to long. Its not easy to remove or trim them so when you start having them done, make sure they are what you want.
