Additional general legal advice associated with the starting of a small business was also provided. Services were quoted as a flat fee, no hourly billing was involved. We prefer this method which prevents unpleasant surprises when the bill arrives. Not all attorneys will provide a flat fee quote for services, so if this is what you are seeking you need to shop around. I have no way of knowing how many actual hours were expended by the attorney to equate to our $4500 flat fee paid.
