Description of service
The length of the class was one hour. I paid $8 dollars and hour for a beginning class. Because she was such a great teacher and a caring person I would leave her with a $3 dollar tip, sometimes $2 to round off the money.
The services were great in this class. The class would not end until the full hour had passes. The teacher made sure that everyone was participating. I did get my moneys worth and more.
Review of Service
She was a great dancer and a great teacher. She cared about how her students were performing in the classes and she observes the students growth. She would place each student to the level they were at. I started at a beginning level and by a month in she moved me to an intermediate class. This class was fun upbeat and a great workout. You get your moneys worth.
A negative aspect of this class was that she only offered this class twice a week. Right when I would get the hang of things it would be one week before I saw her again. Do to my schedule I would go once a week making it hard for me to keep up with new movements she introduced.
To conclude, the service that was offered exceeded my expectations. For a full hour the teacher would not stop for anything. I would walk out of there drenched in sweat and feeling good about myself. The money was not an issue ever. For only $8 a class, I found it to be underpriced.
Tips
The advice I would give would be to start off in a beginning class to see what you have to work with. When the body gets used to it the classes will be much easier understand and to pick up the exercises quicker.
It would have been much easier to know the background of belly dancing. Some of the movements require to whole body to twist and turn in ways that you never thought possible. Even more of a reason to start in a beginning class and research the history of belly dancing. It will help you understand the movements and the story behind them. You will really get the feel for it.
