the Price of Email

This is a pretty good internet based email service. It cost nothing to sign up. I get about 5 GB of storage space and can create emails in a rich text format. I can include attachments and images in my emails and I have an address book and junk mail filter.

This is a good email service. I have had many in the past--both free and not free, and this has everything that I've ever needed. I use it for my personal use, so the lack of more advanced tracking features is not something that I miss. I like that I can spell check and customize my text easily (meaning I can change the color or make it bold or italic.) I do get a lot of junk mail, but I don't know if this is because of the particular service or if it's normal for any email. I suspect the latter.

Know what you need and choose an email provider based on whether or not they can fulfill your needs. You'll most likely find that a free service will do everything that you require. However, if you find that you need something more, then you're very likely to find a wide range of prices. Shop around if you need more than what's basic, but if you do end up paying for service, make sure to check the free services often. They are constantly updating what they offer at no charge and you may find that you can eventually get something for free that satisfies what you currently have to pay for.
