the Price of Karate Classes for Kids

I felt that my 12 year old son needed additional activities in his life outside of video games so I signed him up to attend karate classes three times a week. The lessons are one hour long on mondays,wednesdays, and thursdays. The class size is usually between eight and twelve students.

My son and I are both happy with this service. I feel that my son has gained confidence in himself as well as acting much more mature. He enjoys the classes and now loves karate. There is a husband and wife instruction team so all the children get plenty of attention. There are the hidden additional costs of uniforms, belts, and equipment that has so far added up to about $200, but I feel it is well worth it. Some of my son's now closest friends were met in his karate class and he is now interested in competing in other activities instead of sitting in the house in front of the television.

When choosing a martial art school to send your child to research the different academies in your area. Most all of them will give you a free or really inexpensive trial membership so that you can make sure that your child feels comfortable there. Let your child attend a few of these memberships and pick the class he or she likes best.
