the Price of Karate Classes for Kids

We received free passes to try a sample class at a local karate school. When we went to check it out we were given a demonstration of what a typical class is like. We were also told that the price is $90.00 per month, which includes two classes per week. Additional charges include a sign up fee of $150 and a $50 charge for a gi.

I was very happy with the service provided. The teacher was great with kids. I was not sure what to expect as I had never been to a karate class before, but I was impressed with the mix of physical versus moral training involved. This class is a great outlet for the high degree of energy that most young kids have. I also really liked that the teacher sits down at the end of each class and tells a story with a strong moral at the end. It enforces the idea the concept or right versus wrong in a new and refreshing way that kids these days are not tired of hearing.

I recommend sitting in on or participating in a sample class as my family did. It gives you a feel for the instructor and the school in general before forking over the money. It also may be a good way to find out about unadvertised discounts.
