the Cost of Micro Braids

This service included th labor for microbraiding my niece's hair. The hair was not included, but $80 was very reasonable for the size of the braids. I also gave a $20 tip. This was not madatory.

I was pleased with the service. I am a big fan of micro braids, especially during the summer months. My niece is here visiting and I was unable to get an appointment at the shop that usually does my my braids. The environment of the shop was very nice. It was decorated using retro and contemporary decor.

A lot of times, when visiting African Braiging shops, there is a problem with understanding the hair stylist. In this shop, the women African, but they spoke very good english. Out of courtesy to the clients, they did not carry conversations in their language.

The lady who was braiding my niece's hair often asked my niece if she was comfortable or needed a break. That was very thoughtful. Most of the time, the client will hav to request a break because the braider is so caught up in the work that is being done.

As for anything dealing with the hair, shop around and take suggestions from people that you know. Never walk into a hair shop without some type of idea about what you should expect.
