Description of service
I took Tae Kwon Do classes and paid $30.00 per hour long class. The class was mixed with levels but was all adults.
Review of Service
It'd taken Tae Kwon Do as a kid and wanted to get back into it. I felt it taught me a lot of discipline and was great exercise. I found a local class for adults. I initially thought it was just for beginners but it ended up being for multiple levels of experience, with the more experienced people helping to coach the less experienced people.
I got a lot out of the classes and really enjoyed them. Everyone was really nice and helpful. I was afraid I'd feel out of place and out of shape being the new person there but everyone was really welcoming. It was nice having other students with more experience to coach us, but I would have been irritated if I was the more experience student and I was basically paying for the classes but then was expected to help teach them instead of learning new things myself.
Tips
A mixed-level class can be really useful if you're a beginner but if you're more advanced I think it's probably a waste of money and you should likely find a class that focuses on the more advanced stuff.
