Description of service
$75 includes one 30 minute session of tae kwon do per week for a month. The classes are small, so there is a lot of one-on-one attention, not a lot of dependence on assistants.
Review of Service
Tae kwon do is expensive when compared to sports like baseball or soccer, but considering that it is a defensive arts class, it's worth it. Your peace of mind is worth the expense when it comes to your children, especially. My son loves the classes and I appreciate knowing that he is learning valuable defense lessons that he can use throughout life, and build upon.
Tips
Compare not just prices, but also class sizes. Smaller class sizes are worth a higher payment since your child will end up with more one on one attention from the instructor. Also, if your child has other sports obligations, make sure that the instructor will work around them. We have to continue paying the fee to hold my son's slot open during baseball season, and he gets behind other kids, but as baseball is his favorite, we compromise on this.
Martial arts classes have competitions. Find out if your child is obligated to go to these, or if it is just an option available to them.
