We pay 300 dollars a month for our 3 year old to attend day care on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. This is a full day, 7 am to 5 pm and during the day she is provided two snacks and lunch. We bring her breakfast in the morning. They do art, music, and have a very good program for the children. There are 9 children in a class with one teacher.

I really do like the child care that we receive in the San Antonio area there is a wide variety of child care and pricing. Be very careful of the child care that you pick. Often the extra price is worth it, as in this case. The children have art daily, computer classes on Thursday's, and cooking and dance on Tuesday's. The children are never bored and gain many experiences that they could not at home.

Make sure to randomly drop into a day care. Speak to the child's teacher as often as possible and get on a first name basis. Try to pick up and drop off and different times so that you can get a real feel for the class and environment. There are state websites that show any negative information about the facility and what they did to correct it.
