the Price of Daycare for a Child Between 2 and 4 years old

I currently pay for my 2 and a half year old child's daycare in a private home day care. I pay $250 dollars a week for this service. I do not usually tip with the exceptions of holidays for which I give an extra $25 dollars. On days when I need an extra one or two hours of care than my usual, I am charged only an extra $5 dollars a hour.

I am very happy with the care my child is receiving. The woman spends time with the children and does activities with them. There are four other children she watches all close in age to my own child. My child enjoys his time at this woman's home.

Before choosing this service, I interviewed this woman at length (this is my child we are talking about). We discussed child safety and I walked through her home. It was important to me that she had a fenced in yard. I also made sure she was trained in basic first aid and CPR. Before hiring her, she complied with undergoing a criminal background check, which she paid for. I also discussed the maximum number of children she would accept into her daycare to ensure that my child would always get the attention that he needs.
