the Price of Painting Classes for Kids

This is the price we recently paid for our oldest son to take an oil painting class at a local art college. The class lasted about two hours. The class was for kids between the ages of ten and thirteen. The class included a total of twelve children. The cost included all materials needed for the class and all other costs involved. At the end of the class, the students come home with two oil paintings that they have completed. The first half of the class was more instructional and the students focused on painting a fruit still life. The second half of the class focused on the completion of an abstract style painting of themselves. The class was taught by art education students at the college.

This is a great class. The art college offers new classes each week including oil painting, watercolor painting, and an abstract painting class. You can attend all of the classes or just choose one like my son did. I think the price was reasonable. He had a great time and the paintings he brought home were truly amazing.
