Description of service
I paid $20 a class for my son to try out Tae Kwon Do. He only attended one class. It was mixed with people of all levels
Review of Service
What a bad deal! I think $20 is a pretty normal price to pay for these classes but this wasn't good. We wanted our son to take part in some kind of sport or activity so he was trying a few places out. This place had come highly recommended. We asked to just sit in on a class and watch but they wouldn't allow it. They did let us just pay for one class to try though, when usually you have to pay for at least a months worth of classes. He did not enjoy himself. For one thing, there were too many people in the class. There were about 35 people to one instructor. No one got any individual help. Another problem was that they don't offer beginner's classes. So it's people of all ages and skill levels. Our son felt very intimidated.
Tips
If a place doesn't offer a trial class or at least offer to let you watch one class there's probably a reason for that. Also if you have a younger child or a beginner try to find a class with people in their age bracket and skill level.
