Description of service

Last may I paid for 3 months worth of beginning ballet classes for my niece. The class me for once a week for an hour and 15 minutes in jupiter fl. The class cost 70 dollars a month. If you were to take two classes a month it would be 120 dollars a month. If you added another class, it would be less and so on. The class size was guaranteed no more than 12 students and the age range was 9-12 years old.

Review of Service

This was more expensive than other schools around so I thought it would be superior quality. It was only ok. The instructor was very young and she had very little professional experience. I guess the level of class doesn't necessarily warrant a high level instructor, but my neice did learn the basics and participated in the final recital.

Tips

talk to the intsructor and find out their training and professional experience. Also be aware that the dress code is often strictly enforced and should be budgeted occordingly. Expect to have to buy a leotard, tights, shoes, and a skirt. These things can add up. Also, there is a fee to perform in the recital, it is not usually included in the class price. Find out what this is before you sign your child up for classes.
