the Price of Ballet Lessons for Kids

I paid $60 for a total of six weeks of ballet lessons for my 5 year old daughter. The lessons were once a week and lasted a 1/2 hour. The $60 was the price paid for all of the lessons, so it was $10 for each lesson. The lessons were taught by a ballet student, currently majoring in dance at the local university.

My daughter really enjoyed the lessons, as has since gone on to the more advanced dance classes for kids. The instructor was a dance student from the local university. She was very knowledgeable and graceful. She was very patient with the kids. She did not get angry with them when they didn't understand how she wanted them to pose. She was very nice, and the kids really seemed to enjoy the class.

If you are looking for a dance class for you children, you might consider an introduction to ballet. There are many introductory classes available for children of all age groups. You might want to start with an inexpensive class, taught by a student or you might find one at your local health club. This way, you can see how much your child enjoys the class before investing a lot of money.
