We paid $500 for a quarter page ad in the yellow pages. That cost included a picture that I designed. It also included up to 5 lines of words.
Review of Service
We were really pleased with how the ad came out. We were a little nervous about paying that much for an ad, because we've never advertised our business in the yellow pages before. We were happy that we were allowed to design our own ad. I do some freelance graphic design work, and I preferred to design the ad myself. We got a huge response from the ad in the yellow pages. It by far exceeded all of our expectations, and we have put an ad in the yellow pages for this year as well.
Tips
If you would like to advertise your business and be sure to get a lot of feedback, then the yellow pages are a great place to start. You should find out the cost of different types of ads and what all is included in that price. Sometimes, you have to pay extra to have a picture or graphic. Plus, there are probably a maximum number of lines included with each price. If you do some research, you should be happy with the result.
