the Price of Youth Soccer

I registered my 9 year old sister to play for our local youth soccer team. I paid $110 for her uniform, team picture package, soccer bag, trophy and her insurance. The picture package included 12 solo pictures and a large team picture. Her team practices for an hour every Tuesday and Thursday and games are every Saturday morning. I paid another $30 last weekend to buy snacks for all of the girls on the team.

My sister has one more month of soccer and she really loves it so far. Her team practices twice a week and it doesn't take away from her studies at all. She loves it and it's great for her to get out and play. I think the price is pretty fair considering that the uniform is really nice looking and the price of pictures is included. Her coach is really encouraging and the games are always fun.

Be prepared to buy snacks for other team mates for one weekend. Luckily, I only had to buy snack for one weekend since I volunteered to carpool for a few other mothers. Be sure to put sun block on your child before every practice and game! Also take a water bottle to keep your child hydrated while playing.
