Description of service
This club included 3 practice sessions a week, plus 1 game a week. All students got to borrow a uniform, as well as get a trophy for participation at the end of the season. Practice sessions tended to last 60 to 90 minutes, and largely consisted of drills, getting the students familiar with the basic soccer motions and rules. The first session also had a bit of an introduction to the history of soccer, including the fact that is more popular elsewhere in the world than in the United States, which I guess was a nice educational component to throw in there.
Review of Service
The coaching staff was tough, but fair. They pushed all students to do the absolute best job that they could without over exerting them, getting them hurt, or not playing with good sportsmanship. While I wish the games were not so early on some Saturdays, (9am), all in all it was a good experience for my son, and he is looking forward to doing it again this year.
Tips
Make sure that you look at the equipment list that the club provides you with. Some people on my son's team did not and as such they were not able to play right away because they did not have the necessary safety equipment, such as a cup, cleats, and a shin guard.
