Description of service
I had my satellite system moved/installed into my new home in February of 2007. They moved it for free and I didn't have to bring my satellite dish, only my receivers and remotes. With most of the local satellite companies in the area installation is free when you order service. You don't have to pay for the satellite dish, usually just a monthly fee for your receivers and the service.
Review of Service
All I can say is that you need to make sure you sit aside an entire day for your installation. They do give you a time frame, such as between eight and twelve. You will be lucky if they show up within that time frame. They will either show up right at eight or right at twelve, if at all in that time. Then they will take a long time figuring out where to put the dish and where they have to run the cables. Then they have to do the work. Needless to say it can take forever. But it is worth the wait to have the satellite up and working.
Tips
As I said make sure you have an entire day to devote to the service and be firm and persistent in what you want, otherwise you may end up with cables running in places you don't want them or they may tell you that you have to cut down that tree in your yard if you want service. Just stay on top of them and keep in touch with the call center if necessary, don't be fooled. Try to remain calm, but stay involved in what is going on.
