the Price of Satellite Cable TV

My satellite bill every month was about 89. The basic package was about 35.00 for local channels and basic cable. The three premium movie channels were 12.00 each. I paid 9.00 dollars a month for my high definition channels -- the rest of it, 9.00, was in applicable taxes. Also included with this was insurance for my satellite and receiver.

The quality of service I received was so-so. My satellite would often knock out of alignment due to loose bolts and shake about with the wind. So, my signal was varyingly weak and I was not able to watch TV. The company fixed this by sending their technicians to help, only the system would break a few weeks later. I would be compensated for the time I was not able to use my TV, how ever. The HD channels I was paying for came in clearly when they were able, and the picture was absolutely beautiful.

I do recommend Satellite since the picture is beautiful with high definition. I can not stress how important having insurance with your plan is, because those technician visits are not cheap otherwise. Also, if you live in an area with tall trees on all sides of your house, this is not the service for you.
