the Price of a New Patient Chiropractic Exam

The service included intake exam and health consultation, along with full adjustment of many sections of my back.

I could tell right away that I was going to like this chiropractor. He had a small break in his schedule, and seemed happy to examine and adjust me, though I was just walking by, hoping that luck would be on my side. It totally was.

I filled out a form with health history and descriptions of current back/neck issues. As I was doing this, a couple other patients came in. The office was completely open, so they would come in, the DC would greet them, and they would lay down on one of two exam tables, waiting for him to come adjust them. The patients bantered with the doc and with each other, so it was clear to me that this was a really cool, community-based kind of practice.

When I was ready, we had a brief chat and the doc did a bit of evaluating, pushing me around, watching me bend and move, and finally I got to lay down on the table where he adjusted my back with a series of crunches and pops. It was wonderful!

If you're unfamiliar with chiropractic care, make sure that you ask lots of questions. They can do some crazy things to your back, and it can be scary if you haven't been through it before!
