the Cost of Towing Services

We hit a big dog on the freeway while on vacation. The car had a LOT of damage and could not be driven even a short distance. The drivers were there as quickly as possible, pulled our car on the platform and took it and us over 25 miles to the body shop where we met our family who came to get us.

The tow truck drivers came from their Thanksgiving dinner to get us and then took us back over 25 miles to the body shop. They stayed with us until our family members could come get us, at least an hour, and didn't charge us anything extra. They were VERY quick and professional, but they were also very friendly. They could have left us at a fast food restaurant or some other open business, but they didn't. They were also very and helpful. They also recommended body shops that we could choose -- a big plus for a couple who were from out of town and didn't know anything about the area.

The cost for their services was exceptionally reasonable. They could have charged extra for holiday or after hours work, but they did not. I was expecting to pay twice as much.

Our family called the police station for the names of towing services since nobody was familiar with the area. This worked out much better for us than I think picking a number at random out of the phone book.
