the Cost of Day Laborers and Temporary Workers

Used an employment service to locate a few temporary laborers for construction work. They were supplied at the price of $18.00 per hour. They provided there own transportation to and from the site and were prompt and professional. The service provided covered all the usual employment costs, including all taxes and insurance, unemployment tax etc.

Our employment service provides us with good working temporary staffing. The employee showed up right when they we're supposed to and performed the tasks required in good time and with a concern for doing their job right. They we're careful to only bill me for exactly the hours worked and made sure that everything I needed done was accomplished before they left.

Usually I am skeptical about employment services, but my recent experiences have allowed me to use them more and more with confidence. The employees that are sent are typically people that really want to work. Sometimes they require a little extra supervision or direction but this really depends on each individual.. I have also found that if you do get a person sent to your job who is not able to fulfill your needs, you can simply request another and you won't usually get billed for the the original if he wasn't either qualified or motivated enough.
