Description of service
We pay $16,000 a year annually for our daughter's private high school. She is a Junior in high school. We also have to buy uniforms but they are not very expensive. It is a year round school with classes for 3 months and then 3 weeks off.
Review of Service
What a great school! My daughter loves it there. It is expensive but it has a ton of extracurricular activities that she wouldn't be exposed to in public school. She is currently taking fencing and is in the Latin club. The class sizes vary depending on the class. For classes like theater or art where they don't neccessarily need a lot of one on one interaction the class sizes can range from 30-40 students in each class. They work together collaberatively and do a lot of peer reviewing. For more intensive classes like math and science subjects the class sizes tend to be around 15 students per class. My daughter's reading comprehension and math skills have improved drastically since she started going to private school.
Tips
Make sure to check around for reviews on the schools. Ask people you know if they have any experience. Go to the school and check it out. Talk to the principal if you can.
