Description of service
The above price was for a 15 minute massage. The masseuse was located in a health food store, and he massaged my head, back, and shoulders (he also offered to massage my arms, but I needed extra attention paid to the shoulders.)
Review of Service
The masseuse was pretty good, but the location was lacking. Of course, I imagine that being located in a grocery store means no (or low) overhead, but it was a bit uncomfortable knowing that people could be standing and staring at me. However, deciding to get the massage was completely spontaneous, and I wouldn't have done it if I had to make an appointment and show up at a private office. I liked that the masseuse was knowledgable and willing to answer all of my questions. He was also experienced: he claimed over 20 years of experience
Tips
A service like this isn't too expensive, so it's easy to try it out without shelling out much money. I could have done just 5 minutes if I wanted to and only paid 5 dollars. If I really liked it, I could have extended the duration. If possible, check the credentials of the masseuse, and make sure to communicate if anything he or she is doing is causing pain. After all, they can't read your mind.
