Description of service
A local massage school has final year students giving chair massages at a mall in the area. The price was 1 dollar per minute with a minimum of 5 minutes. They were offering chair massages and foot massages to tired holiday customers.
Review of Service
this was in a middle of a public mall so all massage was through the clothing. The massage therapist asked me how long a session I wanted. I stated 10 -15 minutes. Then she asked if I had any areas that I felt needed special attention. I mentioned the knot I get between my shoulders and she had me sit in the chair so she could access my back area. She started at the base of my neck with and moved out to the shoulder area. After that, the masseuse concentrated on the knot of tension between my shoulder blades. She let me know when it had been 10 minutes and I asked for a another 5 minutes and she worked on more of my back. She thankded me for stopping by.
Tips
Check out your local massage schools. Students need to get a certain number of hours to be licensed and they are usually half the prices of a full professional. I tip students 2 dollars for a few minutes up to 5 dollars for a full body massage.
