You can either purchase minutes at several retail locations or set your phone up to automatically top up your minutes and charge it to your credit or debit card. The service works in many locations in this area.

This service is great for people who don't use their phone frequently. It becomes expensive if you use a lot of minutes but the fact that you aren't on a contract and that your minutes are good for three months after they are activated works well for infrequent calling. The phone itself has good sound and easy to use features. I haven't done any of the downloads from on-line so I don't know how that works. The phone I got doesn't have the option of charging it in the car so that is a real drawback. The service works fine and I haven't had any problems with the phone.

Find someone else who is using the service before you buy to see where it really works because the phones don't work in a lot of the rural areas around here.
