Description of service
There are 3 main types of electrolytic systems - galvanic, thermolysis and blend. I have heard of them through a doctor friend, he told me that it is a long lasting treatment to get your hair removed. So i decided to go for it. The service i received included the fees of the consultant and dermatologist responsible for the electrolysis procedure, clinic charges, taxes. The procedure was performed on my chest and abdominal areas for complete removal of hair.
Review of Service
The therapist involved in the multiple procedures was excellent as a person and handled all my queries very well. There were 23 sessions of treatment in all, the multiple sittings of the procedure make you feel tired and I personally believe I should have tried the laser procedure instead. But since I wanted more long lasting solution, electrolysis is considered superior to laser hair removal in wide areas as it removes the follicles of hair itself rather than vaporizing using a laser. I did not experience discoloration though some people do experience it.
Tips
Make sure you are focused and committed as sometimes the 20 plus sessions may take a toll on you mentally. Approx. each session costs around $50-$70 depending on location, texture of hair, your commitment and expert. SO decide on these factors then make your final decision.
