I have paid a total of $600 for four electrolysis sessions on my upper lip area. Each session cost $150 for half an hour. The procedure was done for one minute per strand of hair. I had gone to these sessions once a week every other week in the span of two months. I'm still going to two more sessions before the hair will be completely and permanently gone.
Review of Service
The results are excellent and I am so glad that I chose to do this to rid my upper lip of unwanted hair. The first two sessions were a bit painful. It felt like my face was being poked and it took some time to get used to it. My upper lip was red as soon as the treatment was over and it was still red for a few hours afterward, but it eventually went away. I saw lasting results after the second session. The hair stopped from growing back and I didn't have any discolored skin or burning. I still have a few sessions to go to and will probably have to go back for touch ups.
Tips
The price of electrolysis will vary depending the size of the area of the hair that needs to be removed. Be sure to ask the cost and length of each session it will take to get the results that you want. The first sessions might be advertised at a special rate, but the whole process will probably cost much more than that.
