Description of service
I've previously gone through about a year of electrolysis appointments to remove the hairs on my upper lip and chin. This appointment was a follow-up visit I made now that I've seen some new hairs start to grow again there.
I had a half hour touch-up appointment, where the electrologist worked on my upper lip and chin, removing the dark hairs found there. Hopefully permanently this time.
The payment was for the full 30 minute appointment.
Review of Service
The electrologist I went to was extremely friendly and pleasant to work with! She also was very good at minimizing the discomfort I felt during the treatment (though of course, there's still some pain when the needle goes in).
I'm a bit disappointed with how new hairs are still sometimes growing on my upper lip and chin, even now after having had one year of appointments. However, there are a lot fewer hairs than there were before, and the hairs are a lot lighter and thinner now. So I feel it was still worth it, considering how I used to have a terrible shadow with dark, thick hairs around my upper lip and chin!
Tips
Be sure to have regular appointments set up, and keep them! Otherwise it will be almost impossible to truly get rid of all the hairs. And since you're not allowed to pluck out, yourself, the new hairs that grow once you start going through electrolosis, it can be very embarrassing if a thick one starts growing out and you can't get rid of it since you don't have an appointment.
