the Price of French Lessons

I paid $150 for a 5 week beginning French class. It was one hour every Wednesday night. It was a class designed to learn conversational French.

I had to go to Paris for business and my boss wanted me to be able to speak a little French. They found me a conversational French class to get me a little bit of French skill. I went once a week for 5 weeks. There were about 20 other beginners in my class. We learned basic phrases to help with checking into hotels, ordering foods and asking for directions. I definitely felt more comfortable traveling abroad after taking this class. The teacher was knowledgeable and experienced in teaching. We did a lot of practicing with each other in pairs. After the class was over I was interested in learning more French because I had such a good time in this class. I never did get around to it though.

It's a good idea to make sure that everyone else in your class is at the same level you are. Learning conversational skills is a good idea when traveling to a different country and there are classes like this that will help you out a lot with that.
