Description of service
My dog was scheduled to receive his one year annual check-up along with his series of booster shots. Included with the annual was an examination of his teeth, coat, and a check to ensure he was free of heartworms. The booster shots which were included with the exam were a rabies booster, a bordatella booster, and a Dhpp vaccine.
Review of Service
The veterinarian staff has always worked well with my pet, and he has never shown any signs of aggression or nervousness in their presence. As a first time pet owner, the veterinarian was very careful to explain any necessary steps I needed to take to ensure that my pet was healthy, and what to look for if any signs of trouble or sickness should appear. In comparisons with other veterinarian clinics in the area, the value was comparable for the level of service. I feel comfortable enough with level of competence and service that I also use this clinic to board my pet whenever I have to make trips out of town.
Tips
Always talk with friends and family in the area to get veterinarians they recommend. Also ask to see a receipt for services such as annual check-ups, booster shots, and even boarding services for their vet in order to get an idea on fair prices. Once you choose a veterinarian, make a commitment to remain with that clinic, so long as they do not give you a substantial reason to leave. This will give your pet a sense of familiarity with the group, along with a consistent level of service.
