the Cost of Routine Pet Care

My dog Rocky got his first puppy shots at 6 weeks old. Which included DHLP-P, this vaccination protects against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza and Parvo. It also included the Corona and Deworming shot and a full physical exam. It came to a total of $64.

My aunt told me about this animal hospital right up the street from me. She called for me and gave me the prices. It sounded very reasonable. For everything I listed up top it came out to $64. Next time it will be less because the physical exam was a one time process that I had to pay $29 for. Which was included in the $64 total? The rest of the shots were about $10 each.

The animal hospital opened at 6pm for vaccinations. I got there at 5:50pm and they helped me first. The ladies that worked there were very nice and the hospital was very clean. I had to fill out some one time paper work that asked general questions such as name of dog, age, gender, mix and my information. They also gave me a paper of the shots my dog will need. I really liked that I was given the option of a payment plan if I didn't have all the money up front.

About 10 minutes after I finished the paper work they called Rocky in. It took about 20 minutes for the physical exam and shots. They explained all the allergic reactions he might have and the proper care for him. Before I left they gave me a free bag of puppy food and they also took a picture of him. They are going to mail me the picture. They also put all of his paper work in a really nice folder for me. I was really pleased with this hospital and will definitely come back.

Try to be the first one there because it did get packed.
