the Cost of Routine Pet Care

My dog got his booster shots, including the rabies vaccination and a certificate saying that he was vaccinated for rabies.

It was a little difficult to find a time that worked because, although there are two branches of this vet's office, one was closed because the roof was leaking or something and they were replacing the roof. We finally got an appointment at the branch that was open.

Everyone in the office was really nice but we waiting for a very long time. My dog and I watched all sorts of cats and dogs go in and out while we waited and waited and waited. Luckily, he gets really excited about other animals so at least he was having fun!

The vet was great though and was really good with my dog. The vet tech and the receptionist were also good. You could tell that they really loved the animals that came through their clinic.

It's hard to tell ahead of time if you're going to have to sit and wait for hours (or what seems like hours) in the vet's office.

I like the vet though and it's really important to have a vet who you like. You need to be comfortable with your vet and, just as important, your pet needs to be comfortable with your vet. So, if you find a vet you like with a long waiting time, I would say to stick with it and just pencil in a longer amount of time for each vet visit.
