Description of service
I take my 3 year old black Labrador Retriever to attend 8 hours of Doggie Daycare on days that I will be out of the house for longer periods of time. The daycare has sections both indoors and outdoors that are fully stocked with toys and things to keep the dogs busy. The sections are segregated among large dogs and small dogs, and are supervised. The facility also has cameras that so that you can monitor what is happening at the daycare over the internet. The daycare also makes every dog go through a test to ensure that there are no aggressive tendencies before they admit the dog to the daycare.
Review of Service
The people who work at the facility are very friendly and helpful to answer any questions that you may have. They are also very watchful over the dogs at all times to help prevent any problems from happening. The facility is maintained very well (and is very clean for a doggie daycare!). They are very thorough in their examination of the dogs that come to the daycare, ensuring (to the best of their ability) that they do not admit aggressive or unhealthy dogs. Being able to monitor the daycare over the internet also helps add to their credibility - as they can not really get away with saying that they do something which they, in fact, do not do!
Tips
I would advise visiting several doggie daycares before deciding on one. Ask to inspect the premisis and observe the conditions. Are the attendants watchful? Are there too many dogs in relation to the number of attendants? Are the facilities clean or well maintained? Sometimes it's worth it to pay a few extra dollars to ensure the safety of your pet.
