Description of service
The doggie daycare we used offered the choice of half or full day service. All dog owners were required to provide proof that their dog was fully vaccinated. For an additional fee the dog could be groomed, shampooed or given a preventative flea treatment. When the owner returns they are given a "report card" telling how the dog did and which other dogs it made "friends" with.
Review of Service
I was impressed with the service provided and though the pricing was fair (though I do not do this daily and would not be willing to pay that much every day). The staff was professional and very positive, clean in appearance and the facility was functional and sanitary. Though I did not pay to have my dog groomed or washed, they did trim her nails for free, which was appreciated. They made sure that all dogs were given name tags that handlers could read, and all dogs were called by their names.
Tips
Make sure to ask what happens if your dog does not get along with another dog at the facility. You don't want to be paying for a daycare if your dog is going to be in a crate all day. If a doggie daycare in your area offers half days, try that first to get your dog acclimated and see how things go.
