I had a breast reduction. I had my breasts "downsized" after my first son was born because I had gained a lot of weight during pregnancy--in my breasts. I had gone from a 34 double D to a 36 F in bra-size, and I was thoroughly uncomfortable. The service was spectacular. It was like going to a spa. The doctor was compassionate and unerstanding, and etremely knowledgeble about the procedure. I was extremely impressed with the results afterwards, and the scarring was minimal, however the pain was substantial! I didn't realize it would hurt so badly to have a breast reduction surgery performed, but it did. The doctor was very understanding and comforting regarding the pain, as well, and kept me as comfortable as possible following the procedure. I am extremely satisfied with the results I received.

Get several consultations before deciding on a surgeon. It is not a decision to be taken lightly, and a lot of doctors will give a free consultation. Be sure to see at least three doctors before deciding which surgeon you will employ for the procedure. Also, be sure it is something you definitely want to do. You can always have them made larger afterwards, but it would require more unnecessary surgery, and may not be in your best interests.
