the Cost of Breast Reduction

I recently had to have breast reduction surgery to lessen the load on my back. The procedure reduced my breast size by almost half, and took a lot of strain off of my back. I was referred by my chiropractic doctor to a woman's clinic where they first examined me, then set a date for the surgery. I also had a post surgery visit with the same doctor. The total cost of everything was $1700.

The surgery was a success, so I have no complaints. At first I was really sore, like anyone would be after having surgery, but my back has really gotten a lot better. I didn't think it would be a noticable difference, but it is a huge difference having smaller breasts. Another one of my worries was that I wouldn't be attractive anymore, but my breast were lifted by the operation, and are actually more perky now. I'm very happy with the results.

Check with your doctor to see if this procedure is actually necessary. Sometimes women can wear a special bra and avoid this procedure all together, but if you have to go through with it, ask around to friends and family for support. Also, don't be scared, it's really not that bad.
