I had a bridesmaid gown that I was wearing again to a black tie wedding. I took it to this specific cleaners that I have gone to in the past. I told them I needed it by a certain date and they told me that it wasn't enough time then they told me it would be done a day later. They were going to have it cleaned and pressed and remove all the stains from the dress.
Review of Service
The service was not great. Not only did I have to wait and extra day to get my gown back but when they did the dry cleaning it shrunk the dress. They did not give me enough time to try it back on but I have never had anything shrink from dry cleaning. The pressing of the dress was not that great either it looked like it was done very quickly. I thought $32.00 was a lot of money but then when I realized everything was getting done it didn't see too bad. But when I got the dress back it didn't look as good as it should have.
Tips
Pick a dry cleaners that you know you can trust. Try not to pick someone from the phone book. See if there is a friend or family member that can refer one to you. Also if you go to the place and you do not like the feel of it then leave and take it somewhere else.
