Had a vintage, very delicate, Muslin and satin gown dry cleaned, and had a small spot removed. It was done in about 3 days, and and was steam pressed when complete. The complete price for the job was $48.00

The company I went to did a wonderful job. This dress has been handed down to me so I was very concerned about it. They took special care with it, got a small stain out, and really gave it the royal treatment. It came back looking absolutely amazing. they were able to really bring it back to life, so that I could wear it to an occasion recently. I am very happy with the job they did. They also gave me some storage tips, that will help this particular article of clothing last a little longer.

I think it is important to find someone you trust if you need vintage clothes cleaned. I looked specifically for a place that had a reputation of being cautious and being able to work with more delicate things. Like most everything, communicating your expectations and letting them know they are working on something that has a bit of an "irreplaceable" value to you is important. Just make sure you leave it in an individuals hands with specific instructions, don't just pass it through a window.
