the Price of Dry Cleaning Formal Wear

I was running behind in errands and realized that I had forgotten to take my military uniform to the dry cleaners. I needed the uniform cleaned as soon as possible because I was expected to wear it the very next morning. I am expected to keep my uniform neat and orderly in appearance. It had stains on it and this uniform cannot be washed in a washer or dryer so I had to take it to a professional dry cleaning service to be dry cleaned.

It was 3pm when I dropped the uniform off at the dry cleaner service. I apologized to the woman working there because I knew that it would be an inconvenience to her to have to handle my request to have my uniform dry cleaned before the location closed. This particular dry cleaning service location normally closes at 4pm. The woman told me that she would have my uniform dry cleaned by 4pm. She did not even seem upset and she remained calm and pleasant. When I arrived at 4pm, sure enough she had dry cleaned my uniform for me perfectly. The total price came to only $10, but I gave her a nice $10 tip for giving me such fast service. She was hesitant to accept it, but I told her that she deserved it for doing such a wonderful job under such short notice. Now everytime I go there she always smiles and makes jokes.

Make sure you get your dry cleaning done right away, when you need it done. Don't put it off, like I did. If you do, you better hope that you are at the dry cleaning service that I used. If so then make sure you give her a nice tip because it really is an inconvenience to have to do something for someone who should have not been procrastination to begin with.
