Description of service
While cleaning out my closets and looking for potential e-bay items, I came across two formal dresses that had not been taken out in about 4 years. Both are the dresses are classic styles, and would be perfect for prom dresses. However, both of them appeared to have stains on them. One of the dresses was satin, and it looked as though some type of liquid was spilled over the front of it. The other dress was taffeta, and it looked like there was self-tanner that seeped through the front of the baby blue dress. I brought the dresses to the local chain dry cleaners, and the technician told me that she couldn't make any promises as to whether or not the stains would come out of the dresses, but that if I gave them an extra day or two to re-clean, the chances of the dresses coming clean would increase. I did just that, and when I picked the dresses up, the satin dress looked like new. There was no sign of staining on the dress. The blue taffeta dress did not come entirely clean, but the stains were significantly lightened. I had expected to pay much more for dry cleaning of formal dresses, since the blue dress had a lot of beading on the front and back. It only cost me $27.60 for multiple cleans of the two dresses.
Review of Service
The technician was great. I thought it was great that she flat out told me that it would take a little longer and that they would re-clean the dresses to get the stains out. I also thought it was nice that it didn't cost me twice as much. The tech proved to me that this chain really cared about customer satisfaction, and explained to me when I picked up the dresses that they cleaned the blue dress four times, but couldn't get the stain any lighter.
