the Cost of Bus Tours

I paid $50.00 to get on a tour bus in New York City, NY. Children under 2 are free to get on. I brought my son with me on the bus. He sat on my lap since he was under two years old. This is a double decker bus. The tour itself is around thirty minutes. It takes you around downtown, uptown and Brooklyn. You can sit on top and feel the breeze. There are heated and air conditioned seats on the lower level of the bus. This tour takes you by the beautiful central park. It also takes you by many well known buildings and historic sites. A few of them include Times Square, Empire State Building, and the big Toy R US.

It was nice to see New York City with someone telling you facts. The tour guides were very upbeat and interactive. I bought my bus ticket from someone selling tickets on the blocks of downtown New York City. The price is higher than I would have liked to pay. The ride goes by too quick for that price. We also had to duck a few times because of tree branches. The seats did fill up fast as well.

Before you got to New York, I would recommend shopping around for better bus tour deals. The price is high if you buy it the same way as I did. If you do your research first, you will find better prices. Be prepared for ducking under tree branches if you sit on top.
