Description of service
My wife and I went on a tour of the Grand Canyon during our recent trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. The tour was by bus, but it was more like a shuttle and was round trip. The cost per person was $149, or it cost us $298 total. That included the trip only, when we got there we had to pay for our own meal and souvineers. The whole trip took less than a day, and we had a good time.
Review of Service
The shuttle bus was not crowded at all. We were afraid we were going to be bunched together on this small bus, but the bus fit about twenty and there was only eleven people on the tour. The driver drove professionally, and we had a smoothe ride the whole time. The actual Grand Canyon is pretty, but overall boring. I couldn't get my mind of the casino. The tour driver tried to make it interesting but it just wasn't. We also got to see Hover Dam, which again was amazing, but boring overall. If I had to do it again, I would not have gone on this tour.
Tips
Ask around and see what is fun. I got a good tour, but had no interest in it so it will pay to research your tour before actually paying and going.
