Description of service
The service I received was a shuttle bus from a hotel to historic downtown St. Augustine then the tour train that gave a guided tour through the city. The train would stop at more than 25 historic areas or points of interest to allow me to get off and on as I liked. There was a constant running of trains so I would wait about 10 minutes for one to pick me up and take me to the next location. I could choose to stay on for the entire 1 1/2 hour tour or get off and on as I wanted. The price was good for 3 consecutive days. So, it was one price for the entire weekend and I could ride the train as I wanted to from 8 am to 5 pm.
Review of Service
I thought the service was excellent. The operator had some humor and seemed very knowledgable about the area. The train was a typical tram in that the seats were hard and leg room was pretty minimal. The price included 3 consecutive days and unlimited off and on so I felt it was well worth it considering the traffic in that area not to mention the price of gas.
Tips
Be sure to get the shuttle service, which was an extra feature, from the hotel. The hotel desk must call for it for you. It runs from 8 am to about 4 pm so be sure to clarify with the driver when the last run is made so you're not stranded in historic St. Augustine.
