Description of service
My boyfriend and I took a trip to gettysburg, pa and took one of those all day busy tours around the battlegrounds. it was 39.95 per person. We were on an air conditioned bus that was very comfortable. It did not, however, have a restroom on board, but they did stop to let us use a public restroom. Our tour guide was lovely, and it was in all an enjoyable experience. The tour took us over all of the battlefields and some of the city of gettysburg with in depth descriptions of its history.
Review of Service
I enjoyed the tour over all, The only problem we encountered was that we did not realize how long the tour would be, and did not bring any snack or lunch. The tour did stop for lunch but the snack bar only took cash, which neither of us had. It was a combination of poor planning on our part and their lack of forth coming information.
Tips
I would recommend taking a bus tour if you plan on going to gettysburg because it is a great way to get all the information in convenient transportation, for a reasonable price. I would advise any other tourers to ask lots of questions at the start of the tour such as how long, refreshments, bathrooms available, etc.
