the Cost of Cable TV Installation

This description of service is for cable television installation in Orlando, Florida. The company is one of two major cable television companies in the area. The installation included a visit by a technician to initially install cable television in my apartment, as well as a DVR box which can be used to pause, rewind, fast forward and tape television shows. The technician hooked up cable for all rooms in my apartment, but, I only got the DVR box in one of the rooms where we watch television the most because each separate DVR box costs an additional charge. This service was for expanded cable. The installation fee was billed to my first bill. I did not have to pay it at the time of installation.

The installation process was alright. He arrived an hour earlier than the time I had arranged over the phone, but, that was no big deal. After the technician left I did have to call to find out why the service was interrupted. They told me to unplug the box and wait a few minutes to re-boot it. When I did as instructed, it played normally. This has been an ongoing problem. I think it has to do with the company changes. Another company has bought out the one I initially signed up with and I think they are working the kinks out.
